|In this hands-on class, we'll create a variety of Italian appetizers, just in time for a perfect winter weather party. We will begin with a puff pasty tart with slow roasted tomato filling, and a goat cheese, basil pesto garnish. We'll then prepare sauteed mixed mushrooms served on slices of toasted baguettes. The next appetizer will be large shrimp wrapped in bacon then baked. Our final appetizer, roasted butternut squash with walnuts, caramelized onions, rosemary, and a fig-based balsamic vinegar, served on crostini. A seasonal dessert will follow.
