Those who complete this class could be qualified to sit for the American Academy of Professional Coders Certified Professional Coder exam, the American Health Information Association Certified Coding Associate exam and/or other national certification exams. Prereqs: You must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma, its equivalent or a higher degree; have documentation . You must have the ability to read, write and accurately communicate in English, basic computer skills and an email account. You must have documentation of the Silver Level achievement on the ACT’s National Readiness Certificate (also known as WorkKeys exams). This is a portable credential that demonstrates a level of workplace employability skills in applied mathematics, locating information and reading for information that adds merit to your resume.
