CourseGraphic Gardeners experience annual dry spells, periodic droughts, rising municipal water usage rates and imposed watering restrictions. In this class you will learn ways to minimize the effects of these events–namely improving the soil, mulching correctly, weeding, reducing dry windy conditions, watering effectively, using alternate sources of water, managing stormwater, reducing the size of thirsty lawns and choosing plants that tolerate drier conditions. Learn how to have a beautiful garden and support wildlife habitats.
