
Welcome to the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra. During this class you will be guided into a deep level of relaxation where the subconscious level will be reached and your body and mind deeply healed. You will set an intention, engage in mindful breathing and body relaxation, experience opposite sensations, guided imagery and meditation. One hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to nearly four hours of sleep. Studies have shown numerous benefits: improved memory, a decrease in blood pressure, better heart health, emotional stability, a boost to the immune system and much more. Commit to a weekly practice and let your transformation begin. For this class, participants are invited to either lay down or sit in a seated position that will be comfortable for the hour. Option to use a pillow, blanket and eye cover if desired.
