Through computer-assisted instruction and a just-in-time intervention facilitator, you will be able to increase your skills in math, graphics and workplace documents literacy. These are skills found in 80% of all jobs and is an excellent way to brush up your skills for on-the-job success. What's best is that you can sign up to take this training literally any day of the year and it can be completed according to your schedule, either in person through the Workforce Foundation Skills Lab on campus or online.
Essential Skills (multiple methods, research-based) identifies and enhances individuals' employability skills — Integrity, Work Ethic, Collaboration, Resilience, Leadership, and Creativity — that predict workplace success.
Students will develop skills that individuals use when they read real workplace documents and use that information to make job-related decisions and solve problems.
Graphic Literacy improves skills that individuals use when they read and comprehend graphical materials to solve work-related problems.
Students will learn basic math skills and receive assistance in order to enhance their score level.
