Are you ready to finally learn how to do these various fiber arts?! If you've struggled to teach yourself these skills from home kits or YouTube videos, now is the time to get personalized help to get started on one or many new hobbies! This class is a safe and supportive space for anyone who wants to learn how to make a small fiber-arts project each week. Each class will start with instruction on how to begin each of these arts, then will allow time to work, make mistakes, and get back on track with help from the trainer. Most likely learners will not finish each project in class but will have the week following each class to continue working on their projects, and then trainees will be encouraged to ask follow-up questions in the next week's class before we start the next project. Projects will include: Knitting - a scarf -- Crocheting - a dishrag or pot holder -- Cross stitch - a design from a couple choices -- Embroidery - a design from a couple choices -- Hand Sewing - an adorable stuffed felt plushie character (i.e. a cat, a popsicle, a cactus or a squirrel) and a small, zippered pouch.
